About the Program

The University of Mississippi Medical Center Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Residency Program provides comprehensive training across the full spectrum of rehabilitation medicine. Residents gain experience in inpatient rehabilitation, outpatient musculoskeletal medicine, pediatric rehabilitation, sports medicine, pain management, electrodiagnostic medicine and interdisciplinary rehabilitation care.

Mission

The mission of the UMMC PM&R Residency Program is to develop compassionate, highly skilled physiatrists who provide patient-centered, evidence-based care across the continuum of rehabilitation medicine. Graduates are prepared to become leaders in clinical practice, education, advocacy and service.
